This large pendant was hand-made by Tibetan refugees in Kathmandu, Nepal using traditional techniques including bezels filled with crushed turquoise. Joining the turquoise are amber and red coral, also very traditional stones. Intricate swirls and dots fill the surface of this unusual piece which has a patina of age that only hints of the journey it has taken.

The necklace is 17.5 inches of hand-knotted faceted turquoise barrels. The pendant is 3.25 inches top to bottom, and 2 inches across at its widest point.
