This vintage Kazakh pendant was made by tribal lapidary and silversmiths using rudimentary tools in traditional ways. This pendant has a clear blue turquoise marquis-shaped stone surrounded by intricate filigree work and dots. The filigree and dots are painstakingly made using tweezers to bend and set each component.
The pendant is 2.75 inches top to bottom and 2.5 inches across. The necklace, with pumpkin carved turquoise is 18 inches long.
