This necklace highlights a silver Tibetan G'au, or prayer box. Opening from the back it was a way for travelers to carry a shrine and their prayers with them at all times. Here hanging from hand-knotted silver and coral beads.

The necklace is 28 inches long and the G'au is 1.5 inches top to bottom.
