This medallion was awarded to someone in 1939 in Namur, Belgium for competing in an accordion competition. The center design is of an accordion partly surrounded by laurel leaves. In addition to the name of the city, Namur, it says "La voix de l'accordeon - Concours Inter 1939" (the voice of the accordion competition inter-mural, 1939). What a lovely little piece of history, especially if you play the accordion, like to listen to the accordion or even just know what an accordion is!
The chain is 17 inches long and closes with a large hook in the front.
