This necklace highlights a set of large, dramatic, antique Baule brass beads which were handmade in the Ivory Coast. Each one is decorated with intricate patterns created with a method known as lost-wax casting, which employs a wax model and mold to achieve the final object. As a result of this technique of lost wax casting each bead is unique. Here they are hand-knotted to frame your neck in a very dramatic way.
