Preferred earring weight is personal and subjective, as everyone's earlobes and weight tolerances vary. In an attempt to help you know what an earring will feel like when you wear it I have included the weight of a single earring in each description. Further, the following weight categories reflect some degree of industry standard:

FEATHER WEIGHT -----------------> Less than .10 ounces

LIGHT WEIGHT --------------------> .10 - .19 ounces

AVERAGE WEIGHT -----------------> .20 - .29 ounces

HEAVIER WEIGHT -----------------> Over .30 ounces
