Black Onyx Stations with White Mother of Pearl Strand Necklace

Black onyx rounds with white layers punctuate this strand necklace with dramatic appeal. In between are small hand-knotted white mother of pearl rice beads. The result is a timeless combination of black and white with an innovative and entirely contemporary design. Black onyx has been associated with regeneration and new beginnings. Mother-of-pearl refers to the nacre that coats the inside layer of the mollusk shell which is used to form pearls--hence, it&#39;s the mother of the pearl. Mother-of-pearl shell is commonly believed to attract prosperity and is often used in mystical work and lore to heighten intuition, psychic sensitivity and imagination.<br><br>This long necklace (43 inches!) can be worn single or double for different effects. Banded Agate Strand Necklace
