This Thai Buddha amulet was made by monks in a Buddhist temple in Thailand. The monks then meditate over the amulets for three days which is believed to imbue all their good intentions into the amulet.

On this amulet the Buddha is sitting in meditation, with his right hand pointing towards the Earth. His left hand rests in his lap. This represents the moment Buddha attained enlightenment, calling on the Earth as his witness. On the reverse are images of 9 auspicious and revered monks.

This necklace of hand-knotted green jade beads is 24 inches long. The amulet is 1.5 inches, top to bottom.
