This necklace is made of natural blue coral*. A soft, dusty blue, it is reminiscent of a favorite worn pair of broken-in jeans. Interspersed here with blue-gray hematite rounds it is lovingly hand-knotted on blue-gray linen. Coral is thought to stimulate emotional healing and relieve stress. Specifically, blue coral is known as the stone of harmony and growth.

This strand necklace is 27 inches long and closes with a large hook and loop clasp.

* Note: Removing coral from natural reefs is bad for ocean environments and there are strict regulations against removing coral from the ocean. Most coral used today is grown in coral farms, rather than being taking from the ocean, as was this blue coral.
