Tibetan artisans are well known for the labor intensive silver technique of chasing and repoussé, which involves working silver metal by hammering from each side to create a design in low relief. This characteristic pendant depicts two peacocks, represent awakening, compassion and wisdom, along with flowing floral motifs.

An 18 inch necklace of hand-knotted naturally shed horn beads support this pendant which is 3 inches top to bottom (including the bale) and 3 inches across.
